I want to know who this person is so I can thank them for being understanding. Unfortunately, the moderator of said Tumblr blog had this to say:
Um. One thing: I have NEVER said "it's for drama." WHEN have I ever said that?! I have never tried to defend the fan series' problems. In fact, some of my friends are giving me great ideas on how to improve it for the better, and I'm listening to them! And yeah, speaking of that, I AM listening to these concerns! Do these people seriously think I'm not trying? Do they really want to put me at the same level as those idiots who absolutely refuse to accept constructive criticism at all? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't accept their criticism. I'm working on fixing my stories' issues right now. What bothers me is that people act like I'm some kind of spoiled brat who doesn't listen to people's concerns when in fact I DO! This is why I sometimes hate the anime/manga fandom: people always want to vilify people for stupid reasons and not give anything a chance. Besides, have these people even READ my story? They never specify how many chapters they read! My story has over 20 so far! How much have they read? Four? Five? Tell me, because if they're basing their entire views on one story based on four chapters, or one thing in the entire story, then they're not even giving it a chance, like the person who defended TwiPre said!
I never should have encountered Fan Cure Confessions. But this isn't going to stop me from writing! Ohhhh no! I am NOT going to let them win! I'm going to finish my fan series to the end! School may get in my way in the next month, but I won't let any bad comments get me down!
